  • Born in 1958,  it was quite normal to use things until they where worn out or completely broken.
  • Knowing how to repair, to create, to upgrade or to change the purposes of things was a need to survive.
  • Everywhere around me people were active and I observed their handicraft.
  • My mother liked needlework and so did her mother. They showed me their skills and I started designing clothes for all my dolls, later for myself.
  • My father's mother worked as a tailor and I learned a lot while visiting her. She showed me how to realize my dreams.
  • The idea for my wedding dress came to my mind while shopping: three silken skirts changed to my dress(see below for a picture).
  • Most of my clothes, even the silken wedding skirts, where re-used, some over and over again.
  • I never thought of making a living out of my arts and designs. But in 2014 I realized that two rooms of my apartment, which had large windows and were facing to the street, were of no use for my office. Thus,  I decided to use these rooms to display my works and ideas and to turn them into a showroom for the fabrication of my artwork and their sale. This was the birth of my atelier, "Heartbeat Art Of Upcycling".
